About Treiben KennelsAfter nine years of raising English Labs we discovered the wirehair and we will never have another breed. They are so versatile. They make great house dogs and companions as well. They shed very little and are easy to groom after a day in the field. Our dogs have 42 acres to run on and we raise pigeons and pheasants to train them on. They love to retrieve - both on land and in the water. We currently have six dogs and normally have 2 - 3 litters a year. We like to keep one dog out of each litter, work with them and sell them as a started dog.

This puppy who is registered as Trebian's Red River Wally was welped on Dec. 13, 2010 and when I picked him up in Denver was active and alert. He travels well in a truck and has not been sick yet. He is active and retriving anything thrown for him. He has shown interest in a phesant feather that was put in front of him with a fishing pole. I drove to their facility from Nevada and found the puppies and dam to be very alert and active. The new puppy made the 12 hour drive with no problems. By the second day at her new home, she was retrieving a ball at 7 weeks of age. I am quite pleased with this puppy.Larry Teske |
