What makes us different? We train full time...your dog is not our 'hobby', it's our full time profession.... We don't train or breed quality hunting dogs because it seems like it might be a 'fun thing to do' on the side....we do it because we are dedicated to dogs and to the tradition of hunting. We breed for the same reason....quality, not quantity...We have a 'few breedings' per year, not several....every breeding we make is the best we have because we want the best we have in the field.....that's our job.We invite customers new and old to do their research when purchasing a pup..Know the Sire pedigree as well as the Dam pedigree...if you don't understand these pedigrees,ask a professional for help..

We are committed to the 'regular guy' and the 'traditional family'.....affordable training and reasonably priced pups. Yes, we field trial champions, but we are more interested in providing customers with the great experience of watching their dog reach his or her potential in the field as well as connecting a family with an affordable pet and hunting companion.

I purchased a puppy from Mark Pace, Jr several years ago. Little did I know what a world class pup this was; you certainly wouldn't have known it from the price. A few years later, I took her to a trainer for some help and was shocked to hear what a quality dog she was and have him go on and on about her breeding.
Recently, I contacted Mark Pace, Sr for a "finished" gun dog and was again overwhelmed at the quality for the price. Grace is the most perfectly trained hunting partner I could imagine and the "Marks" are professional and kind and offer 100% support to everyone they come in contact with.
I trust them explicitly and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as trainers or to recommend a pup from their kennel to anyone.
Their skill in working with the dogs is only exceeded by their goodness as human beings.
