We strive to produce Labradors with excellent pedigrees that promote brains, good looks and dogs that are free from health problems and genetic defects such as hip dysplasia. Our labs are family first, hunting companions next. We are currently getting ready for 2012 spring/fall to start running AKC/HRC hunt tests and to excel from there.

Our puppies are whelped in our home for close monitoring and continue there until approximately 4-5 weeks of age and then will be moved to an outdoor/indoor room to help aid in future kennel and house-breaking. This will allow the puppies to also build up an immunity to the outside world and to learn about different smells all around them as well as learning to explore in a safe environment. They will still have one on one socialization each and every day by our family which also includes our 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son. Puppies will be introduced to pheasant wings, live pigeons (if available) and water (weather permitting) prior to leaving and will have had their dewclaws removed, been through a worming program and will be up to date on their vaccinations. We will also conduct "EARLY NEUROLOGICAL STIMULATION" as well as the "VOLHARD PAT". We continue to monitor our puppies ongoingly as they progress. We start the weaning process at 4 weeks of age and then work on their kennel/crate training at/around 5 weeks old as a group, not individually. They will see their first adventure outside at 4 weeks old but will only be able to go in limited areas for their safety.

Puppy owners will also be given a photo CD of their pup with pictures of his/her growth and development from birth to 7-8 weeks (when they are sent to you at home).
