About Rstad's German Shorthairs
My husband and I have owned and raised Shorthairs for over 20 years. I grew up knowing not only what great, versatile birddogs they are but wonderful family dogs. We breed only occasional litters, not year after year. When we have a female that has qualities of an awesome hunting dog and great companion/family dog, we then take time to find the right sire for a litter. This is a special litter. Dad is a 6x champion in AKC and Am.Field hunting trials as well as an excellent wild bird hunter. He is also a wonderfully personable dog. Dam is a heck of a hunter too and loves everybody. She competed also but for very limited time with placements in Am.Field against all Eng.Pointers & Eng. Setters. Dad and Mom can be seen at drycreekranch.org under heading of "Planned Breedings/Dogs for Sale"Call 209-217-4764 for more info, pics, pedigrees etc. Male pups only. Born May 30 ready to go now. 500.00 Or e-mail email@example.com

Submitted by: V Bernardi on Jul 31, 2014We just got a pup from Leslie at Rstad's. Leslie was really great to work with and always answered promptly to our inquires. The living area for the puppies was clean and well-kept with plenty of room for them to play. The dam was on-site and was very pleasant to be around. We spent quite a bit of time deciding which pup we wanted and Leslie was very informative of the individiual traits she has observed in each puppy. She obviously cares greatly for the animals in her charge. We are very happy with our pup. He appears to be very intelligent and eager to please. He already enjoys short retrieves and has started to harass the home covey of quail. He is a wonderful addition to our family and we look forward to him being a great hunting companion. All-in-all, Leslie made this a great experience.
