Submitted by: Howard Davol on Jul 01, 2009I have one of Bert's dogs from rising sun. She is a female 3 years old. She is a solid pointer and family dog. She hunts hard and will go all day. These dogs are "athletes". She has a good nose, covers the ground, and will even move to corral a bird that runs. Her tail is straight up on point. It is all instinct, believe me. Once you have seen one of Bert's dogs in action, you'll want one. Howard Davol 541-772-7068. Medford, Oregon
Submitted by: mel Sherbourne on Jun 23, 2009I am very happy with my English setter from Rising Sun Hunt Preserve. Infact, the hunting genitics exceed my wildest expectations. She never stops hunting; at home she's hunting from sun up to sun down. She has a great nose and she holds an unbelievable point. She has made several retrieves over 300 yards. The owner told me that his dogs corraled moving birds and I thought he was joking. He was telling the truth and I'm a very very happy owner of the best hunting dog I have ever had. Please call if you have any questions. Mel Sherbourne (Ish Ranch Estates] 541-864-1318 or 541-779-4175 evenings
Submitted by: Don Turcke on Jun 23, 2009Have hunted many times over Bert's Setters and they are amazing. Abby, owned by a friend, can freeze in mid air and lock up on a point. She is very steady to hold and corralthe bird as hunters approach Have used German shorthair, pointing Labs , Vizla, Weimaraner in the past but none can match Berts dogs in the field!
