Meradi Kennels - British Columbia Golden Retriever Breeders

Meradi kennels is a small kennel that has been raising Goldens foe 6 years . The name was my mothers when she raised African hunting dogs. My goldens compete in obedience but my passion is hunting retriever work. I breed with the standard for goldens in mind both in conformation and working. Older male stud or males that come from lines that have had healthy older dogs are used as stud.goldens have problems with medical issues as well as cancer at young ages. The puppies are raised in my kitchen with all the noise and activity as well as having lots of play toys that help with motor and mind development. My goldens are hard workers but are great family dogs as well. Since most of the puppies go to family pet homes it's important that the puppies will make great family editions but are smart and well adjusted. At 7 weeks the puppies are examined by a knowledgeable person for conformation and temperment/ personallity so that they are placed with the right home.
