We purchased two GSPs from River City Kennels and were a little hesitant about getting two from the same litter at the same time, but we could not be happier with our dogs. They are mainly family pets more than hunting but they definitely have the beautiful lines of a gundog when they point. At 7 months, they have learned quickly and are very loyal to us which is what we hoped for. I highly recommend using River City Kennels if you're looking for quality GSPs.

I have owned English Pointers all of my life and met Brian at the UFTA Finals in Town Creek, AL. He gave me information sources and his expereince with the German Shorthair breed. I own three shorthairs from River City Kennels all from different litters and how Brian describes his dogs is 100% correct. I have one male that has consistently placed in first and second place in field trials across Alabama while the others usually finish in the top five. You can expect a River City puppy to retrieve to hand, not be gun or water shy, and locate birds on their own by 20 weeks. The best quality to me is they can hunt with a 400 yard or a 50 yard range with very little effort or correction. Great gun dogs and companions is all I can say and keep up the good work.
