About River City Kennels
I am a small kennel located in Priceville, AL just off interstate 65. I raise quality well bred GSP and English Pointers. I generally breed 2 to 3 litters a year. My dogs are bred to hunt as well as be a great family companion.

He gave me information sources and his expereince with the German Shorthair breed. After completing some my own research, I purchased a dog from him and could not be happier. I could not be any happier with my purchase as the dog is exactly like Brian said he would be in the field. The dog has also become the family pet, as Brian's dogs have great personalities, therefore making the perfect hunting partner. Keep up the good work Brian.Submitted by: David P on Dec 16, 2008 I own three shorthairs from River City Kennels all from different litters and how Brian describes his dogs is 100% correct. I have one male that has consistently placed in first and second place in field trials across Alabama while the others usually finish in the top five. You can expect a River City puppy to retrieve to hand, not be gun or water shy, and locate birds on their own by 20 weeks. The best quality to me is they can hunt with a 400 yard or a 50 yard range with very little effort or correction.
